Swimming prohibition lifted at Kilkee, Spanish Point and White Strand Miltown Malbay; bathing restriction remains at Lahinch
The temporary prohibition on swimming that had been in place at the following three locations has been lifted with immediate effect:
- Kilkee
- Spanish Point
- White Strand Miltown Malbay.
The bathing restrictions at the above locations have been lifted following analysis and on the advice of the HSE.
The temporary prohibition on swimming at Lahinch has been revised to an advisory note not to swim, therefore it is advised not to swim at Lahinch.
Clare County Council advises that the safest place to swim is at lifeguarded locations.
